Studded Betrayal

Studded Betrayal is an illustrator based in Athens, Greece.​ In the real world, her name is Christina Dimitra. She loves arts and crafts, experimenting with different tools and materials and teaching others how to make art too!

She makes huge teddy bears for those who cannot sleep alone at night. She also creates illustrations, animations, zines, engravings, and prints. Sometimes she hosts art workshops in Greece and the US.

​Studded Betrayal graduated from Vakalo College of Arts and Design with a BA in Graphic Design and a MA in Visual Communication in 2018.
​Studded Betrayal is currently working as a designer and picture book illustrator for Patakis Publications. She has worked for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Greek National Opera and has collaborated with Onassis Foundation, Illustradays, Big Olive, Trekking
Hellas, Jam Pedals,  Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, The Athens Queer Archive Festival, Atlas Workshops, Loom Magazine, Yusra Magazine and more.

You will find her in her studio until late at night experimenting and creating bold illustrations for kids and adults. She has created her own brand where she makes handmade soft toys, rugs, prints, colorful tote bags, pins, stickers and more! Mystic Maze

During her journey a few years ago, dedicated to creating a fanzine for Greece, she gathered tickets, wrapping paper, postcards, with her favorite being from the island of Crete – the iconic symbol of the bull. Collaborating with Aiki Diounot, this eclectic collection has seamlessly metamorphosed into a unique pattern.
